You Raise Me Up
At first glance, that may seem a corny song title for a Parents' Day item.But it was everything but the above.
My most stressful performance to date.
But well worth every second.
For I was able to show my love for mum and dad via words and song - my two most comfortable mediums of expression.
Despite the hours of practice, I did not achieve acceptable vocal standards.
However, seeing the laughter, then tears of joy on my mum's eyes, made every moment a memory to treasure.
Thank you Father.
