Cup Heartbreak

The pic says it all...


I remember weeping after we lost the 1996 FA Cup Final 0-1 to Man U. I was 16 then.

Just now, I had to fight back the tears and anger as I watched Chelsea snatch the League Cup away.

It was painful.

More so when you take a 1st min lead, only to concede three goals.

More so, when your captain, Steven Gerrard, who had a quiet game, missed a simple chance before scoring an own goal for the club he's tipped to move to this summer.

More so, when you have an insensitive Chelsea fan texting you at the end of the game.

Will a good night's sleep erase all that???

Thank God I'm off tomorrow...
