On biz and loving it!

Man, now I know why people pay a bomb for business class.

Besides the really cool, huge seats that can be adjusted in numerous ways, u also get a nice, cosy lounge to chill out during transit and prior to boarding.

Sorry for sounding like a 'sua ku' (country bum), but it was my first time... heh.

Did nothing much but sleep and sleep (cos the seat's so comfy!)

Now for the six-star Ritz-Carlton...

Middle-East escapade

Twas a slow day at the office... when suddenly I stumbled upon this email from the 2006 Asian Games organisers.
And buried in there were these two key paragraphs:

"DAGOC, and His Royal Highness the Emir of Qatar, wish to extend an invitation to the Straits Times to have a representative present at this special occasion, to be briefed on DAGOC's preparations for the Games, to report on the event and to attend the post event Media Conference at which special interviews with leaders of the Organizing Committee might be arranged.

We understand that New Years Eve is a special night in most countries; however, we hope that Straits Times, as one of Asia's leading news agencies, will still be able to send a senior representative to Doha. In order to indicate our seriousness, DAGOC is willing to provide a Business Class return airfare, five star accommodations and transportation to and from the hotel."

Well, senior rep I'm not, but who cares?!
Doha here I come...
