I spent my birthday overseas for only the second time yesterday.The first I remember vividly - 2003 in Venice with my family. Got serenaded by an Italian boatman on a gondola and had a chance to kiss the waitress.
But yesterday was equally memorable.
Had a great day out with Clement in Ballarat, followed by dinner with him and his friends at a HK-style cafe. Nice food, great company. Ended with a tim tam shopping spree... =)
It didn't matter that they didn't know it was my b'day. Because they already made me feel special for the past 72 hours I've spent in their household.
Thank You for seeing me through these 26 years.
